Programs Overview

University of Wisconsin-Platteville (UWP) has offered degrees at a distance since 1978, currently offering undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Criminal Justice and graduate degrees in Project Management, Criminal Justice and Engineering. Courses are available on a semester basis. Regardless of residency, graduate online tuition is $595 per credit; undergraduate online tuition is $350 per credit. Tuition for print undergraduate courses is $223.49 (Wisconsin Resident) and $539.03 (Nonresident). Certificate programs and non-credit training courses are also available. No campus visits are required. Financial aid is available for eligible students and some students earn credit for work and life experience.

Ranking and Reputation

UWP is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The Higher Learning Commission noted that UWP is a leader in distance education in the nation. The Master of Science in Project Management has received Global Accreditation by the Project Management Institute and is also a Registered Education Provider of PMI. UWP's online degrees have been named as military-friendly by GI Jobs and Military Advanced Education.
